The rabbits would sometimes play hide-and-seek with the foxes or race against each other for fun. The deer would let smaller creatures take refuge under their antlers during sudden rain showers, and everyone shared food when it was scarce during winter.

The forest was like one big happy family where everyone looked out for each other’s best interest. It was truly a peaceful home that made all its inhabitants feel safe and loved.

The wind began to pick up speed, and leaves started flying everywhere. Suddenly, there was a loud clap of thunder! Everyone knew then that they had to prepare for what could be a dangerous storm.

”We need to find shelter!” shouted one of the squirrels.

”Everyone follow me!” said another animal bravely leading them through paths he knew well.

As they ran deeper into their home territory, they saw trees bending over from strong winds and lightning striking nearby bushes! They needed to move quickly if they wanted any chance at survival.
