The Circus
Sophie was a little girl who loved going to the circus with her family. She would jump up and down in excitement as soon as she saw the big tent from afar. But there was one performer that always caught her attention - the acrobat.
The acrobat would perform daring stunts, like flipping through hoops of fire or hanging upside down from a trapeze high up in the air. Sophie thought it was amazing how graceful and fearless she looked doing it all.
Sophie’s admiration for the acrobat inspired her to dream of becoming just like her someday. However, there was something different about Sophie compared to other kids: she used a wheelchair because of her disability.
Despite this challenge, Sophie never let it stop her from enjoying life and trying new things. Whenever they went to see the circus, Sophie watched every act closely, taking note of what each performer did during their routines – analyzing everything with childlike wonderment!
One day after watching an especially awe-inspiring performance by the acrobat- Sophie made up mind that she wanted to try performing at Circus too!
The Circus Auditions
Excitement was in the air as everyone in town heard about the circus auditions. Sophie, who had been a big fan of the circus since she was little, couldn’t contain her excitement. She knew that this was an opportunity to live out her dream of performing just like her favorite acrobat.
Sophie quickly gathered some friends and started practicing for the audition. They spent hours perfecting their routines and trying new stunts. Even though Sophie used a wheelchair, it didn’t stop her from participating with enthusiasm.
On the day of the audition, Sophie arrived at the circus arena early with all her props ready to go. As she made her way towards backstage, she could feel butterflies fluttering around inside her stomach.
When it was finally time for Sophie’s group to perform their routine, they took center stage amidst loud cheers and applause from the judges and audience alike. However, as they went through their performance routine things started getting tough for Sophie due to challenges brought on by using a wheelchair.
Despite trying hard- twisting and turning herself over every obstacle that stood before them; but unfortunately- while attempting one particular stunt which required jumping off trampolines onto platforms high up in mid-air -she wasn’t able to land correctly on target landing mat due to lack of strength yet again resulting in frustration!
Sophie felt embarrassed but tried not let it dampen spirits entirely since there were still more stunts ahead where she could show what she’s really capable of performing even if differently than others!
Sophie’s Disappointment
Sophie felt like her heart had sunk to the pit of her stomach when she heard that she had been rejected by the judges. Tears streamed down her face, and she felt sad and discouraged. She couldn’t believe that all her hard work had gone to waste.
Her friends tried to cheer her up, but nothing seemed to work. The thought of never being able to perform in the circus again made Sophie feel even worse.
Despite feeling dejected, Sophie knew deep down that this wasn’t the end of the road for her dream. She realized that sometimes things don’t go as planned, but it doesn’t mean giving up on your goals.
So, with a little encouragement from her family and friends, Sophie picked herself up and started practicing harder than before!

Never give up on your dreams
Sophie was feeling down after the judges rejected her audition. However, she knew that giving up wasn’t an option. She decided to take some time off and think about how she could improve her skills.
Her family and friends were very supportive of Sophie’s dream, and they encouraged her not to give up. They reminded her that sometimes it takes a little longer to achieve our goals, but with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
Sophie took their advice seriously and began practicing even harder than before. She practiced every day after school for hours at a time. Her parents bought her new props to use in her routines like hoops that would allow Sophie’s wheelchair to move around while performing the tricks.
At first, Sophie found it challenging as she had never used these props before; however, slowly but surely- she started getting better!
As days passed by, Sophie’s confidence grew stronger with each passing day. She was determined more than ever now - nothing would stop her from achieving what seemed impossible just a few days ago!
With each practice session came improvement - At one point during one of the practices when everyone else had gone home- while still trying out different moves- something remarkable happened: Sophie nailed an acrobatic stunt which left even herself surprised!
From then on out- whenever things got tough or felt like too much work - all Sophia had to do was remember this moment of triumph & it gave her renewed energy & strength!
Sophie learned through this experience that perseverance pays off in the end; no matter how difficult things may seem at times if you keep working hard towards your dreams eventually they will come true!
A Second Chance at the Circus
Sophie was overjoyed when she received a call from the circus director. He told her that he had been impressed by her determination and wanted to give her another chance at the auditions. Sophie couldn’t believe it! She was so excited to get back to practicing.
With renewed focus, Sophie spent every spare moment practicing with her friends. They worked on perfecting their routine and making sure that Sophie’s wheelchair would be incorporated seamlessly into the act.
Sophie found herself even more determined than before. She knew that this was her one shot at fulfilling her dream of performing in the circus, and she wasn’t going to let anything stop her.

Despite feeling nervous, they performed their routine flawlessly - incorporating amazing stunts while showcasing how much fun it is for children using wheelchairs to take part in thrilling activities like acrobatics!
At last, it was time for the judges’ verdicts! With bated breath, they waited for what seemed like an eternity until finally hearing:
“We are thrilled to announce… you’re hired!”
Sophie could hardly contain herself as she hugged everyone around in sheer joy! Her dream had come true because she never gave up despite facing initial rejection- instead choosing tenacity & perseverance toward achieving something truly remarkable- becoming a member of Circus group!
From then on out whenever anyone asked about how hard work paid off? The answer would always be “just ask Sophie!”
Sophie becomes a Circus Performer!
Sophie couldn’t believe it! After all the hard work, she finally achieved her dream of becoming a circus performer. She was thrilled to be able to show off her skills and make people smile.
The first time she performed in front of an audience, Sophie felt incredibly nervous. But as soon as she started performing her aerial stunts using her wheelchair, all the fear disappeared. The audience cheered loudly and gave her a standing ovation when she finished!
From then on out at each show performance- audiences marvel at how skilled she is in performing aerial stunts while sitting in a wheelchair- truly making them realize that anything is possible if you work hard enough towards your goals!
Being part of the circus group meant that Sophie had many new friends from different parts of the world. They taught each other new tricks and shared their experiences with one another.
Sophie loved everything about being part of the circus; from practicing every day to traveling around the country for shows. Even during long trips on cramped buses or trains - Sophie always found ways to enjoy herself by singing songs or playing games with other performers.
Most importantly, being part of this unique community showed Sophie that anything was possible if you worked hard enough towards your dreams - no matter what challenges came along!
